Who  I  Am...

My whole life I have loved drawing and painting, however when it came to a career, I didn't know what exactly I wanted to do with my life. I studied Early Childhood Education at age 18 but decided it wasn't for me. I then moved to Ontario to work as a bartender for a couple of years and decided that wasn't what I wanted either so I moved back home to do something more meaningful with my life.

At the age of 24 I decided to go to college to do a Visual Arts program to brush up on my painting and drawing, and also to learn to manipulate new mediums. After the two year program was completed, I had grown in both my art and my attitude towards life. Thankfully enough, I not only perfected my art skills in college, I also met my soul mate who is now my Hubby. We moved here to Nova Scotia in 2008 and haven't looked back.

I haven't been able to work a "normal" job in almost 4 years due to some medical issues, so drawing portraits was my way to escape from the stress and pain on a daily basis. Just before Christmas of 2012 I decided I was going to set up my easel and start painting again, which has brought me to where I am now, creating works of art for people who truly appreciate my talents. I love bringing a smile to a person's face when they see the finished project.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my work!
